Xbox 360 wired connection problem.?

Hey, so the other day i was installing some webroot internet security anti virus software. I was in a match with my friend over xbox live and it cut off as the Anti virus installed. My internet went on and then off. I have since then checked the obvious too see if i am sharing my internet connection and i am. I must stress that i have an ethernet cable going from my xbox 360 into my computer via the port. My wireless router is a dsl 2640R. I just wondered if if my anti virus software has had something to do with this. HELP!
