I am confused on how Molina Healthcare works for pregnancy?

I am 36 weeks pregnant. I got my packet to preregister and its asking me for my child's pediatrician signature. how am i supposed to choose a pediatrician without him having health insurance? i mean don't you need your child's social security to get health insurance... and you cant get that until they're born! am i right? or can i already apply for medical without him even being born?
