Which is a better camera? ?

I'm shopping for a new digital camera and I've narrowed it down to the Canon SX30 IS and fujifilm HS10. I currently own a fujifilm s1500 and it while its a ok camera it doesn't take superb pictures like I would like. I've read reviews on both camera's and some have compared them the same which has me confused on which to buy. So which is a better buy? Does anyone have 1 of these camera's? If tell what's great and what's bad. Thanks.
