Why did the people at the zoo kick me out when I asked them to barbecue some Norwegian giant rabbit?

I was at a zoo, and I asked a keeper if they would barbecue me one of the large rabbits on display. They had 2 dozen, so I thought that 1 would not be missed. I was willing to pay $200 for it. She got mad, and screamed that she had raised the rabbits from childhood. I said that it was time to put them on the barbecue for lunch. She called security nd had me kicked out. Why did she do this?
