Holiday inn hotel internet access?

I'll be going to a holiday inn soon, they have wireless internet access, and i wanted to know if they monitor what you are doing online or what websites you visit. Is there really any question about email security and passwords here? And also, under what circumstances would they decide to monitor or check up on someones internet usage?
