Why do some rich people look at the poor as animals?

Now, I'm not saying all rich people are like this, but there are a few who say that the poor need to be neutered so they can't breed. Why do they insist on treating us like we're dogs? There are several poor people who do not even attempt to find jobs and still live on foodstamps and Social Security, but there are also people out there like me who not only work, but are also attending college so they can make something of themselves.
